Visit Tenby
Probably Wales’ best-loved resort. The view of the colourful harbour is famous the world over and that colour spills right into the town centre where you can explore craft and gift shops as well as pubs, cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.
The best way to get to Tenby is on foot along the beach – a 20-minute stroll taking you right into the heart of the town, but to go by car or taxi takes just five minutes or so.
Wandering the streets and falling upon new discoveries is a lovely way to experience Tenby, but here are some things you shouldn’t miss:
-
-
A trip to Caldey Island or a boat ride around the island with Tenby Boat trips
-
-
-
A visit to HARBWR Brewery where you can see how the harbour’s craft beer is brewed and of course taste the wares
-
-
-
A fishing trip with Tenby Sea Fishing or Seren y Mor Mackerel Fishing
-
-
-
A visit to Tenby Museum & Art Gallery or The Tudor Merchant’s house
-
You can also do any food shopping at the Four Seasons Fruit & Vegetable shop, the butchers in the market and you won’t want to miss the new bakery, Loafley! There is also a selection of supermarkets in Tenby; Sainsbury’s, Tesco Express or Co-op for food, drink, barbecues and other essentials.
